Cinematology

In April 2011, O.I.C. made its debut on the international stage, participating in the first edition of the Beijing International Film Festival (Beijing International Film Festival), with the concert “Cinematology,” a tribute to the most̀ representative soundtracks in the history of international cinema.

The Orchestra performed at the National Centre for the Performing Arts and at the Great Hall of the People (home of China’s Parliament), with special participation in conducting by Academy Award winner Nicola Piovani and an appearance by Israeli singer Noa.

The concert was broadcast by CCTV (Chinese state television) with an audience of more than 100 million viewers.
